At each stage of an employee’s tenure with an organization there are actions that organizations can take, and lessons that can be learned, that affect how hard people work, how well they perform, how reliable they are, the extent to which corporate citizenship behaviors are exhibited, their willingness to act in alignment with the organization’s strategy, and retention.

HumanR conducts surveys that measure each phase of an employee's tenure. By having access to information at key leverage points, our clients are able to increase employee engagement and retention.

In addition, HumanR is adept at measuring customer satisfaction and loyalty - and in connecting customer data to employee data. Research across diverse industries shows that customer retention is directly linked to employee retention. By connecting customer data to employee data, HumanR supports organizations in creating predictive indices that measure the impact of increasing employee retention on customer loyalty and, ultimately, the bottom line.

HumanR’s Employee Survey Offering

HumanR offers the infrastructure to connect to employees at every stage of the Employee’s Life Cycle in the organization.

We administer surveys over the Internet, on paper, or by phone. In addition, we offer focus group services when it’s important to explore issues in depth.

Our survey services cover all aspects of the Employee Life Cycle.

  • New Hire/On-Boarding Surveys:

  • Survey solutions that address your company's need to ensure that new employees are integrated in to the workforce quickly and effectively.
  • Employee Surveys, including:
    • Satisfaction and Loyalty
    • Commitment/Engagement
    • Acquisition Integration
    • Culture
    • Alignment
    • Work/Life Balance

A client, concerned that turnover among female employees was excessive, engaged HumanR to do an employee survey. The survey revealed the pervasive feeling by women in the organization that they faced a glass ceiling. The client was able to take steps to change that perception and lower turnover.

  • Pulse Surveys:
Survey solutions that quickly open a window in to the organization, allowing you to assess the impact of new initiatives or to gauge employees' response to events that impact the company.

  • Exit Interviews:
On-line and telephone interviewing solution that use branching techniques to get at the real reasons people leave.

A client, concerned that too many voluntary terminations were taking place, engaged HumanR to conduct exit interviews. The interviews revealed that few people who had terminated voluntarily had been asked by their supervisor to stay. The client instituted an awareness program for managers that addressed the problem with immediate effects on turnover.

In addition, HumanR’s extensive coverage of the Employee Life Cycle gives it the unique ability to “Connect the Dots” between data coming from different survey initiatives. Our team of experienced IO Psychologists have the background and training to analyze data in ways that provide insights into how human capital and human capital initiatives connect to business results.

A client for whom HumanR conducted both employee surveys and exit interviews got new insights into retention as a result of our ability to look, for the first time, at how people who voluntarily terminated their employment had responded to the employee survey.

HumanR’s Customer Survey Offering

Both commercial and nonprofit organizations rely on customers/members for revenue and positive "word-of-mouth" behavior that encourages others to use their products and services. HumanR’s customer surveys identify specific actions that will improve the satisfaction and loyalty of both internal and external customers.

Knowing what customers think and taking action based on that knowledge enables organizations to focus scarce resources on those activities most likely to affect customer satisfaction and loyalty.

HumanR has conducted membership surveys for non-profit associations, tracking studies for retailers, product and service surveys for commercial enterprises, and internal service surveys for organizational units such as human resources and information technology.
